Historic District Commission

Comprised of five appointed members, the Gallatin Historic District Commission ensures that additions, alterations, and new construction within the Woodson Terrace District and the East Main Street Historic District preserve the historical integrity of these neighborhoods through the issuance of Certificates of Appropriateness.

The Historic District Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month, except in the months of June and December. The Commission meets at 4:30 p.m. in the Planning Department's 2nd Floor Conference Room of City Hall. For more information, contact Jillian Ogden in the Planning Department at 615-451-5796.  Applications are due to the Planning Department two (2) weeks before the monthly meeting.
