Battalion Chief Mark Jenkins first entered the fire service in 1985. In 1996, Chief Jenkins began his employment with the Gallatin Fire Department where he has served in the capacity of Firefighter, Firefighter Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, and currently holds the position of Battalion Chief.
Chief Jenkins is a Tennessee State Certified Fire Instructor I, Fire Officer II, Emergency Medical Responder, and Fire Code Inspector 1. He is presently studying Fire Science at Volunteer State Community College to further his knowledge in the fire service industry. Chief Jenkins is the Battalion Chief supervising the day-to-day operations of C-Shift.
